Dorie, until now, I was not aware of White Rabbit Poetry. I am very pleased to learn of it and I applaud for your choice of Chris, A Writer’s Voice, as editor and contributor. This is a very enjoyable find. I look forward to reading many issues in the future.

Hello Kelly! We are just a little publication. We are on a mission, though to help new poets become their best selves and to encourage anyone who wants to learn to write poetry to give it a try.

We also love our veteran poets. We just want to offer a gentle place to rest in between busy schedules and writing projects. Thank you so much for joining us.

Chris, to begin, I am honored for having been in any way instrumental in your inspiration for Broken Cathedral, one of your finest poems to date. Thank you for the acknowledgement. Upon reading Broken Cathedral again, I am reminded of how gratifying it was to learn from you that I had correctly interpreted your poem when it was first published as a mirror poem. What I wish is that I could remember precisely how I formed my description of this interpretation upon first read. Because what your poem describes is the aftermath of a failed civilization, one with corruption at its heart. The speaker in your poem has overcome this corruption because they kneel only to love. And love has conquered the deceitful, the famished, the broken and the abandoned Gods of "before." The poem is not only a mirror of my poem, Cathedral, which was the prompt poem for Mirror Poems, volume 5, (Cathedral), the initial collaboration. It potentially mirrors our current national and geopolitical crisis and what we could become... Nothing more than ruins; broken; abandoned; forgotten... Gone.
